 Computer Skills Class being offered August 19Sponsored By: Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, Department of Economic Development Nashville, Ga.— A Computer Skills Class is offered to individuals in need of improving their computer skills. The class introduces the importance of computers, Windows basics, internet browsing, file organization, and other functions in a simple easy-to-follow format in an instructor lead class. The class is sponsored by Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Economical Development and will be offered on Thursday, August 19th from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Class will be held at Berrien County High School, 500 East Smith Avenue, Nashville, Georgia. This course is “Free to Dislocated Workers” who qualify for a Georgia Work Ready voucher from the State of Georgia. To qualify as a “dislocated worker” you must furnish a copy of a separation notice from your former employer or unemployment verification. The cost for the class will be $35 for non-voucher students.
